Chapter 76 - Jo Thompson
Jo POV
“Jo, I need you to know I am sorry for how I reacted earlier. I just, it was too much…” he says and I nod as I spin around to look at him and he is looking down at his shoes. I walk to him, placing both my hands on his face, forcing him to look at me. When his eyes meet mine, everything I thought earlier disappears and I realize I can’t live without this man anymore.
“I love you Dylan Ashford, and I will be by your side until the day you decide you’ve had enough of me, I will help you through the storm that is brewing, but I will need you to stop walking away and let me in,” I say and he nods.
“Thank you,” he says as he pulls me into his arms, wrapping them around my back, keeping me pressed against his body. I can feel his heart beating fast against his chest. Dylan kisses me deeply as I melt against him as he pulls me to his bed in the middle of the room.

Dylan POV As we walk down the stairs, I can feel Jo feel a lot more relaxed than before. We walk through the lobby to the sitting area where my mom is drinking some tea and reading a pile of papers. I wonder if she is just standing around waiting for my mom to ring the damn thing. “Bring us some more tea please,” my mom says, and the maid nods, taking away the lukewarm tea.
