Chapter 43: Daisy

When Vevina came out of the washroom after she had freshened up in the pack house she saw that Alastor had been waiting outside for her.

“Is something the matter?” she asked, finding his expression to be a little odd.

“There is someone I want you to meet,” he said and curious at who it could be she nodded and followed after him without another word.

As she passed the people she saw them bow their heads at her, addressing her and thanking her for the food that she and Alastor had hunted in the run before. Well it had mostly been Alastor but she was there with him and it was the thought that counts.

Passing through many people and lively rooms, Vevina at last found herself in a quiet corridor with no trace of another wolf there. The quietness was peaceful to her after the way she had been busy catering to everyone.
