[ IN WHICH SHE MEETS DEATH ]

NOVEMBER’S P.O.V —

I pull myself to a stop.

I have arrived at the fields of grasses. After running for a while, I have finally reached my destination, but I reached with a beating heart and sweaty palms.

Bracing myself on my knees, I crouch low as I try to catch my breath. Sweat beads on my forehead and my skin itches with sweat. I have been running non-stop for almost an hour. It is an impossible task, but when you know you have messed up and most likely destroyed your Kingdom, it becomes possible to run a million miles.

Back on earth, I had seen several occasions that can be likened to my situation right now. One time in middle school, I was over at a friend's house for homework and we found out that his mom was heading back home and he hadn't done his chores yet. That moment, I learned that he could clean the house and do the dishes within five minutes. The fear of getting in trouble can push you to do the most unimaginable things. That is what my s
