I walked over to Prince Barlion's chambers amd I was surprised when I realized that there wasn't any shadow following my every steps.

I stopped once to look around, still not believing the freedom I felt at the mere thought of not being seen from the dark hall corners.

It felt good.

On my way to his chambers, I was constantly thinking about our conversation in the garden.

After Prince Barlion had admitted that he didn't like it when I walked out on him, I felt something weird. Something was flipping and fluttering in my stomach. I had felt a flattered stomach before but that felt different.

I'd placed my right hand flat against my stomach as soon as he said that and looked away.

His gorgeous face shining in the sun did not help my stomach.

Because it had been lunch hour, I told him that I needed to go to my temporary chambers and he had wished me a good meal, as did I.

It felt like the whole conversation we had had opened a gate way between us. It felt a lot more lighter to be around
