"I trust your decision, Nerissa, but is there any other reason why you agreed with the truce?" Juls asked. Nerissa looked at them, of course, they need to know. Lorcan and Illac left already, they even gave them a place to stay away from the supernaturals who are after their lives. 

"Yeah, we need to know if there is another reason why," Damian agreed to what Juls said. Nerissa sighed. She took a sit then pursed her lips before saying anything. 

"Illac is the safest bet," Nerissa said. Or at least, that is what she thinks when she weighed the danger between Illac and her father. 

"If I did not agree with that truce, we will have to ask for Azazel's assistance, which is riskier over anything. I had to settle it with Illac because I would not want to risk it asking for my father's forgiveness and fail," she said. Based on what they heard, it does seem that Illac is the safest bet.
