Chapter 23

All I could see is red.

Something inside me snap that moment when the skulk dissed Adolf right in front of me. Everything around us faded and my only attention is focused on the skulk that’s waiting for my attack.

“How dare you!”

My sword was blocked using the back of his arm. Our collision made an impact. An air force produce, alerting the others what’s going on. The skulk is powerful but I did not train for years just to get defeated easily!

“Take back what you said!” I growled in choler then screamed at the top of my lungs.

“Give up, princess! You and Adolf will never win this war!”

The skulk laughed mockingly and it ignited my anger. I could feel an overflowing of energy rushing in my veins when I look at the skulk in the eyes. They held no remorse. All they want is destruction.

“Want to know what was Azariel’s plan all along?”

The skulk easily stood up straight while blocking my sword that’s colliding with him. My hand is already shaking and the kid I was holding can’t look at me
