Chapter 43

“Hey, wake up!”

Someone was shaking my shoulders when I slowly open up my eyelids to see what’s going on. A faint light greeted me. Everything is blinding my vision I have to close my eyes tightly again.

Did I pass out? I couldn’t remember clearly what happened before. But, I could feel my whole body getting numb and unable to move.

“W-what’s going on?” I asked, caressing my forehead.

However, I was stunned when someone threw something at me. I immediately recovered from it by sitting up straight to see what it was. A bag pack landed on my lap.

“Get ready, Adolf. We’re going on a trip to go back with Stoic and Princess Daciana.”

I almost fell on the bed when I heard the news. Luckily, I catch myself. I glance up at Blode whose eyes were telling me that I should get up and prepare myself. I didn’t waste any more time. I got up from the bed but paused for a while when I felt my muscles aching.

“Don’t push yourself too much.”
