Chapter 44

“Okay, that’s enough!”

I yielded my sword one last slash before halting myself. I straighten my back because I had been training all day. I could hear some parts of my bones cracking. That feels so good.

“Why?”

I glanced at Stoic whose eyes were watching me the whole time. Usually, he wouldn’t stop me until I passed out from exhaustion. That’s how brutal he is when it comes to training.

His motto is ‘try and try until you die.’ And I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s how he thinks since he’s the chief of their tribe. Being a chief requires a lot of great power and ability.

Which, reminds me of my father once again.

Stoic didn’t say anything. However, he inclined his head towards the house they temporarily build. His face holds a mysterious, yet, demanding look that would make you eventually follow him.
