Chapter 64

“W-what’s that?”

The figure ahead of us was impossible to make out. We couldn't quite see its face, but we could tell it was vast and covered in a thick fur. Although the air around our party was filled with tension and fear, there was something about this creature that screamed danger. We held our breaths as we got closer - instinctively huddling together for safety. Each step seemed to take an eternity as the figure loomed ahead of us; even at a distance you could feel its power radiating.

“W-where’s Adolf? And who is that?”

None of us could give Stoic an answer. I felt a tight knot in my throat, and I squinted as we all waited for the creature hovering in the air to change directions. We were all deeply apprehensive. Desperate for a solution, yet wholly aware that our feeble minds would find no reprieve from this quandary.

“Adolf!”

I screamed out his name, desperation and worry in my voice. I frantically scanned the area for any sign of him, but it seems like Gigantor is too involv
