Natasha's POV

As the time spent with Lauren draws to a close, I feel the heaviness in my eyes as drowsiness begins to take over. My eyelids droop, and it becomes increasingly difficult to keep up with the conversation. Lauren, ever observant, notices my growing sleepiness and can’t resist making a joke at my expense.

“You know, Natasha,” she chuckles, “you’re like a walking alarm clock. The moment it’s bedtime, you just can’t help but shut down!”

I manage a weak smile, the exhaustion weighing on me as I struggle to stay awake. Despite my fatigue, Lauren insists on accompanying me to my room, offering her company and support. I argue half-heartedly, unsure if it’s really necessary.
