CHAPTER 46.

It was a few minutes ride that felt like ages to Dane and when he finally pulled up on Raine's driveway, his feelings can no longer be contained. 

What if she wasn't at home? What if the events of last night had driven her to disappear from him.  

The latter is his greatest fear. He can't bear the thought of living the future days to come without Raine in his life. The thought was as abominable as it is unimaginable. 

The door was locked but he used his own key card to swipe it open. When he entered the house, everywhere was filled with total silence. His heart lurched in his chest...she isn't here. Where could sh—
