CHAPTER 49.
Lorraine had a very long day today. She's been at the gymnasium since morning, trying to catch up with the girls. Her absence from there because of her injury had made her to be lagging behind, but then again, she was determined not to overstress herself all in the name of catching up with them. She'd promised Dane that she'll be careful and apart from that, she no longer has the same love and drive she used to have for gymnastics. Especially now that she has become a business woman. She might even quit completely one of these days.
After her class sessions were over, she had gone to town. Dane had helped her set up a big boutique that sells unisex wears amongst other things. It's one of the businesses he helped her set up and a very successful one too. She'd gone to do her rounds of supervision. The sales there were running smoothly and everything is still as it's supposed to be—if not more. It made her happy to know
CHAPTER 50.Dane had helped Cynthia up and she stood beside him—shock apparent on her face. He watched all the blood drain from Raine's face as she stood frozen, staring at him and Cynthia. It was written all over her face that she was misunderstanding. It gets worse because she thinks Cynthia's baby belongs to him."Raine....!" He made a move to go to her but she took a step away from him. Wide eyes staring up at him with horror. And she was breathing heavily....too heavily."Oh my God...." Raine trailed off. Her breath started coming in short pants and she felt a tightness in her throat. It was suddenly hard to breathe. She started shaking.Panic attack. Dane knew she was having one even before her trembling hand raised to grab her throat. He walked quickly to her and she took some steps back, his steps were longer and faster. H
CHAPTER 51.Dane was already on the hallway that leads to his room when Cynthia's call came in. He was curious to know why, so, he answered the call."Raine's car is blocking mine, I don't know how to drive out." She said immediately he picked up.He stopped walking. He considered telling Raine about it, but on second thought.... "Okay, I'm coming to drive it out of the way." he replied, hanging up.He saw Raine's bag on the center table and took her car key from it. Then, he turned to the door and headed out.💖💖~~~~💖💖Lorraine couldn't bring herself to sit down and so she paced the tiled floor of the bedroom. She felt like the world has finally settled on her shoulder. Although Dane told her that he isn't the father of Cynthia's child and she believed him, she still couldn't get the episode they just had in the sitting room out of
CHAPTER 52.💖💖~~~~💖💖In the time that went by before and after her call with Dane, Raine had calmed down very well, her head working perfectly again. She was so embarrassed about her reaction outside that a full blush of mortification appeared on her face. Who would have thought that she would be one of those jealous women fighting for the opposite gender? The thought was as funny as it was preposterous. Yet, she had done it.She decided that it doesn't matter whatever Dane and Cynthia talked about. It doesn't matter if Cynthia wants Dane back. What matters is what Dane thinks, what Dane wants and what she can give him. Her love. Her trust. Her body. Her body."Dane loves me." She said out loud. That, she knows for sure. But tonight, she'll be more closer to him. She will be intimate with him.Once the th
CHAPTER 53.His nostrils flared. Hell, the woman is easily the most beautiful woman he's ever seen and as a doctor, he'd seen a lot. He was at a loss of word, so, he kept mute.Raine was getting mortified and blushing the more as every minute went by in silence but she wouldn't allow it to sway her. Instead, she got up from bed and slowly, she walked closer to Dane."I want you. Right here....right now, Dane. You said, I should come to you whenever I'm ready, you said I should make the move.....Here I am." she whispered.Dane swallowed and forced himself to tear his eyes away from her alluring body. He looked at her shy but sturbbonly set face and found his voice. "Is it because of what happened this evening? Raine, you don't have to do this because—"Standing in front of him, she raised her hand to cover his mouth, shaking her head. "Shhh.....I'm not doing this becau
CHAPTER 54.“I trust you," She whispered.Dane heaved a sigh. “You have no idea, do you?” he said and bit her earlobe again, this time painfully, and pulling her hips flush against his own. Raine gasped, her eyes widening. Then she was pushed onto her back and Dane started kissing her. Everywhere.God. Raine's eyelids closed slowly, her lips parting as she panted. She'd never been touched like that before—like he was drowning and she was air, like he was trying to devour all of her and couldn’t get enough.Sure enough, seconds later, she felt the slow, delicate touch of his mouth moving down to her breasts. He brushed them with kisses, teasing them lazily until her nipples went more rigid. He nibbled and touched, and then he took it into his mouth and sucked."Oh..." Raine's mouth formed the prefec
CHAPTER 55.“Why are you nervous?” Raine asked with a relaxed but nervous smile.“I’m not nervous,” he said, settling between her spread legs. “I just…” His gaze traveled over her flushed naked body and the shapely legs that he’d imagined wrapped around his waist countless of times. “I’m a man who has wanted to fuck you since—fucking forever.”Raine's eyes widened. “You mean when I was…?”“Yeah, but I was in denial at the time.” He bent and kissed her lips. At the same time, he pushed a finger inside her body to prepare her for him. She was all liquid heat but still incredibly tight.“You probably think I’m a pervert,” he said, looking up to meet her eyes. “I thought so, too. I tried to convince myself that I wasn’t
CHAPTER 56Gabriel spent most of his time at the bar after work before he headed home. Home to his lonely big house. He opened the door and entered into the darkness. He turned the switch on and the light came on. He dropped his suitcase at the couch and walked straight into his room. These days, the silence and loneliness of his own house was becoming quite obvious to him. He didn't use to care....it never used to matter. But after 24 hours in Cynthia's company, all these suddenly started to make itself known.Hunger. He was hungry. He removed his work clothes and made his way to his kitchen. The large kitchen was rarely used and almost empty. He came out of it and walked to his fridge. It didn't take him long to get some junks and settle for putting it into his stomach. He couldn't remember the last time he ate a home-cooked meal. It only happens when his younger sister co
CHAPTER 57.Vivian looked at her husband, his head was bent and he was tying his shoelace. She would have done it for him but her husband was pretty adamant that she wouldn't...not in her condition, he'd said.He avoided looking her in the face and it's the wee hours of the morning. They woke up early. He was still sulking about last night."Should I get your suitcase?" She asked softly. He grunted but he didn't reply her.Vivian sighed heavily, left the window she was cleaning and wiped her hands clean. She walked to stand before him on the bed, he stopped lacing his shoes and raised his head to look at her."Can you stop ignoring me already? I feel so bad about it." She spoke softly.Raymond sighed, looking at his wife. He placed his hand on her arm and tugged her to sit on his lap. "I know you can get pe
