Chapter 1

I quickly rushed up the stairs into the church only to be greeted by.

"You may now kiss the bride" the priest says.

He leaned down and places a kiss on her lips without any care of the world around them.

Seriously, I was supposed to be the bride's maid but they went ahead and held the wedding without me.

I agree I was a tab bit late, ok, a lot but I ain't to blame you see.

First of all, they had to fix the wedding while I was out of town and then they went ahead and gave me the wrong venue which was all the way across town.

Not to talk that our car crashed in the middle of nowhere and it took us forever to repair.

Oh hey! Sorry for bleeding your ears like that.

I am Zephrine ( Heaven papier vierge) and the girl standing there on the alter, well, she's my sister, my twin to be precise Zephrine (Nevaeh papier vierge).

You might be wondering how the two of us have the same. Well, that's how it has always been and always will be

Let me tell you a little secret though, we are living this life as the same person you see, so technically, it's also my wedding somehow today.

I quickly slid into the back seat so as to go unnoticed.

They still seem to be stuck in their kiss till now.

Can't they just get over it already.

I adjusted myself, trying to get a better view of the groom but all I can see is his raven colored hair and his body covered in a six pieces tuxedo.

He also stood tall before my sister, he's probably a foot taller than her.

Not that we are that tall to begin with.

She has sent me a picture of him last week but I didn't bother to look at it as I was busy with the entrance examinations.

The two had just met ten days ago and in that short span of time, they fell in love and he proposed and she foolishly said yes and that too without even informing me.

But they had organised the best wedding held in this small town of ours so far.

He must be rich then, that's for sure.

What's the name of the groom again, oh yes! There it was, Zephrine weds Abramo

Such an odd name. I don't think he is from part t this country though.

I took a deep breath, trying to concentrate on what's happening.

"Now, everything is over, may the both of you stay blessed" the priest announces.

With that, everyone took off from their seats and starts applauding.

People have blocked my view so I couldn't see what's happening at the front.

I got up too, applauding. But mine was different. Mine hold a lot of emotions.

The happy ones, the sad ones and the list keeps going on and on.

I just can't believe that she's getting married today.

It's still so sudden to me.

I start walking over to the front, making my way through the crowd that have now gathered around the couple.

"One, two, three" someone shouts and then her flower bouquet was thrown up in the air.

Someone got a hold of it and they started cheering again.

I looked a bit further and then I saw that it was Baia, our friend, that caught it.

"That was supposed to be mine" I mumbled.

I tried to go further into the crowd but I was pulled out.

"Hey, let go of me, I'm not..."

I was cut short when I turned to see my mother, our mother.

"So now you have decided to show up, why were you late?" she asks.

Really?.

Now we are standing at the far end of the church, far away from the cheering crowd.

"You should have told me that you have changed the venue" I complained.

"The new venue was sent to you early this morning and you were supposed to be back yesterday, weren't you?" she asks.

"Oh! About that, my phone was switched off since yesterday, no lights and I didn't get to finish the exams until late" I say.

She stood there, staring at me. She then pulled me into a hug.

"I'm glad you are finally back, I missed you so much" she says.

"Me too, Mom" I whisper.

She quickly pulls away from me.

"Now there's no time to waste, quickly rush off to the car, the reception is going to start soon" she says.

I nodded and rushed off.

Mom has dressed in a turquoise blue gown which fitted her body figure just well. It's the theme for the wedding.

One would never guessed that she is 48. With her beautiful, elegant posture. She stood 5'9", a little bit taller than us, even though age and hardwork has made her look a little shorter. She has a  nice, round Amber eyes and a ,heart shaped face. Her  chocolate shaded hair, which stood at her waist length, made her look more graceful.
