The entire Shadow Pack was gathered at the packhouse. A table had been set up between the door and the stairs leading to the courtyard. Raymond was sitting, facing the crowd as if this were his judgment and not Stephany's. On his right sat Shane and his mate. Shane hadn't officially accepted the Beta position, but he wasn't going to miss that moment for the world. To his left sat Ryan and his two mates, who, despite not belonging to the pack, had every right to be there.
