Tonia, a member of our pack, experienced a miscarriage, and we had to pay our respects to her and her unborn child.

The loss was quite painful, and it affected me as well. Tonia had been pregnant even before my father passed away.

I wasn't sure how to console her, but I felt the need to be there as soon as I heard the news from another pack member.

The night was still young, with a full moon in the sky. After a few minutes of silence to honor the deceased, the pack started howling.

"I'm not sure. I'm still worried about why this had to happen right after my father's death. I don't want my leadership to be seen as bad luck," I replied with concern.
