The Night Before
Jakes POV
It wasn’t unknown knowledge that when a woman had a baby, they felt forgotten like their only role now was to be a mum like that’s all they were meant to be. I didn’t want that to be Angel. I wanted her to keep her identity to feel like she was still the same sexy woman I fell in love with because she was so much more than ‘just a mum’ and she deserved to know it. Every chance I had I would do something to show her just that. When Angel told me she was going to take the flowers to the chapel I planned the picnic. I knew Angel loved picnics so having researched the area I found the perfect spot; everything just fell into place after that. To say she was shocked was an understatement. She practically pounced on me. The weather was still chilly but regardless it was the perfect afternoon and I promised Angel that after the wedding we would make it a regular thing, we would have dates that were just the two of us and family dates.<

Angels POV I got to sleep so easily last night that I would have thought I was as going to stay that way until my alarm sounded. How wrong was I. Alpha Kings POV I raced down to the safe room using my enhanced speed to check that Nick had gotten my family to safety before he had confronted Jason. - Nicks POV I woke up on the floor, the bite on my shoulder nearly healed already thank the goddess for being a werewolf, if I’d been a human I wouldn’t start to heal for days. I took in my surroundings as I stood up, Jason was gone the window at the end of the corridor smashed so I’m guessing he jumped. I looked out and realised he must have landed on the rose bushes underneath, that would have given him a softer landing with less injuries if any at all. “The Luna’s going to be pissed when she sees them” my wolf Haze chuckled in my head, I nodded in silent agreement.
