The guards never returned, I could only assume the worst had happened to them. All our hunters and guards are trained and have to take an oath to kill themselves if they were at the mercy of any supes. It was to ensure information about us would never get out.

As I spent time reading over the information I had on the mate bond, I began to realise that a wolf could literally be mated to any kind which could also mean that the special one in our cell could have attracted my right hand man Marcus, there was no way he would have gone to her aid otherwise.

Could it be possible that humans could not ignore the mate bond no matter what? It is the only thing that made sense, Marcus hated the supes as much, if not more than what I do.
