TJ’s POV
It felt so good to tear that asshole apart, my wolf and I combined giving us both full control simultaneously. I had enough of that Aslo, the more he spoke the more I didn’t trust him and my wolf had been right all along, we had met him before. He had been the Fae trying to attack us in the forest.
As I stood over the remaining parts of Aslo, a strong sense of satisfaction overcame my body, my wolf retreated back and left me standing naked. Power thrived inside me, it completely took over anything else I was feeling.
Quiet footsteps approached from somewhere behind, throwing a glance over my shoulder Erik was smiling at me “You did a great job” and he pulls off his tshirt and hands it too me. Making me aware that I was completely naked.
Taking it and pulling it on quickly, I glance around to see where the others are. “They are fine, they are with Marcus” he murmurs into my ear as he wraps his arms around me, pu
Matthew’s POVThe guards never returned, I could only assume the worst had happened to them. All our hunters and guards are trained and have to take an oath to kill themselves if they were at the mercy of any supes. It was to ensure information about us would never get out.As I spent time reading over the information I had on the mate bond, I began to realise that a wolf could literally be mated to any kind which could also mean that the special one in our cell could have attracted my right hand man Marcus, there was no way he would have gone to her aid otherwise.Could it be possible that humans could not ignore the mate bond no matter what? It is the only thing that made sense, Marcus hated the supes as much, if not more than what I do.Another day had passed and there was still no sign of Lacey, four days left and I will be coming for her baby regardless. I exhale noisily as a rap of knuckles hits my door “Come in” and I slump back d
TJ’s POVI tried to prepare myself for whatever Erik was going to say, how bad could it be? Surely he wouldn’t have had sex with me if there was something really wrong. Erik rakes a hand through his already messy blonde hair, he was bothered by my need to know and couldn’t look me directly in the eye.“Now is not the time!” he grumbles and tries to move forward, however I stood my ground, he was not going to get out of this so easily.Do you really want another fight with him? My wolf groans at me and she was right, I didn’t want a fight, but he had just told me I had been strange since I woke up.“Fine” Erik’s eyes were different, the gold flecks shinning much more brightly than usual. “You do things…….”I cut him off, holding a finger up to my lips, ordering him and everyone to be silent. My nose was twitching at the smell, it wasn't human and it reminded me
Alpha Erik’s POVTJ stepped towards me holding the hand of a small girl that couldn’t have been any older than ten or eleven, she had black hair that dropped to her shoulders and green eyes, the same green eyes as TJ. I had never seen another with eyes like hers and it was baffling. As we continued to walk, Alice would run between us, asking various questions like what it was like to be a wolf or how fast we could run, she was inquisitive about our world. Alice asks if she can come with us, announcing how she hated it down wherever the humans were living and that she felt free being in the forest. I could not disagree with her, the forest was our home.TJ shocks me when she tells me through mind link that we were going to use Alice, I could not believe that she was willing to use a child to benefit us, it was always something she was so against. My mate shakes her head at me telling me its not that simple and asks if I noticed the black flicker in he
TJ’s POV It was like looking at a photo of myself. I just did not know what to think and was fighting back the tears that were threatening to spill over like a tidal wave. How could it even be possible? I had to talk to my mother and leave the others sitting around the kitchen table, taking the photo with me. My wolf was being just as quiet. Making my way to our bedroom, I laid on my back on the carpeted floor and concentrated on the photo repeating the words ‘I need to speak to you’. For ages nothing happened and I closed my eyes and finally she stood in front of me in the dark room. My mother. “I see you have found your brother and sister” she spoke so casually that it infuriated me “Why?, Why mother” my words came out in a snarl “I wasn’t sure you would become the person you have and created another. Your brother is because you have the same father” she dismissed the issue like it was nothing “You didn’t think I would be good enough
Matthew’s POV There was no sign of Alice anywhere, my men had searched the woods for hours and there was no hint of her anywhere, they had picked up trails of wolves a few times but that was it. I really hoped the wolves had not found or killed my daughter. I loved my daughter and the day we had discovered Luna TJ, I honestly thought it was my first love Selene, the woman that had given me my beautiful daughter Alice. It was only from learning through Jack that this woman was TJ, the Luna of one of the largest wolf packs in Europe. Time and information taught me that this TJ was the daughter of the Moon Goddess, the very woman that the wolves believed in. Could it be possible that Alice’s mother and this TJ were related?. That would be the worst news possible because she was a pure wolf which meant my daughter was most definitely a half breed. With all the paperwork I kept in my drawer the biggest file I had was on my own daughter, she looked nothing
TJ’s POV Erik stared at me completely gobsmacked “I’m not going to do it. I can’t hurt a child or my sister" “My mother doesn’t want me?” Alice steps back in the room with saddened eyes, “What did I do?” Dropping to my knees in front of her I automatically pull her into a hug “Nothing, you did nothing” What could I say, our mother only wanted pure bloods and had only created her just in case I wasn't good enough. “We have a problem” Erik interrupts Alice’s sobbing “Alpha Dillon believes they are coming for war tomorrow at sunrise, we have to evacuate” “How does he know?” I was surprised Alpha Dillon cared, he had shown little interest so far. “It’s the final day that Lacey had to return with you, if they have been watching us for as long as Marcus has said they have then they will come at dawn” “Are they coming for me?” Alice whimpers from my shoulder “If your father has worked out that you are part wolf then no, he wil
Alpha Erik’s POVRunning forwards, I was ready to throw myself into the fight and defend my pack no matter what when my mates voice rang out across the ground demanding everyone to stop. I could not believe what she was doing, she was facing the miserable human that had beaten her countless times and left her for dead and yet she was not ripping his throat out like i would have expected her to do.I ask her what she is doing and she tells me that’s she is doing what is best for everyone, when she looked at me one final time, I saw her arm move so quickly and pull a shiny object from the waist band of her blue joggers. Not once did TJ hesitate and I watch helplessly as she plunges the silver dagger into her own chest. I had no clue that this was what she was planning. She doesn’t make a sound, the whole time staring intently into my own eyes whilst her own green eyes dimmed as she drops to the ground and deep crimson blood trickles down her tors
Matthew’s POV We certainly took them by surprise and many of their men and women fell so easily. When the red head turned up to the fight, she was calm, it was oddly unnerving. She demanded for us to stop and I couldn’t help but laugh, how could she be so stupid? And then she has the audacity to tell me that I did not know her mother as well as she did, the only thing I did not know was how she was the Moon Goddess and how she had tricked me into having a child. I tell her how her kind ruined my life, it was their fault we had to live underground all these years, living in secret like we no longer existed was horrendous. The Alpha looked furious but I could not care, his grandparents had been the reason for our lack of existence and all because a wolf mated with a human. I had heard stories over the years but this was the truth, it had been passed down to me by my grandparents and it would be why we would wipe out all supes once and for all. We needed
