The whooping and back-slapping soon died down once we started working our way through into enemy territory. Thick mud slowed our progress. “We could just shift you know,” Sawyer groaned as we hauled him out of yet another quagmire. He was still tetchy about his precious white-blonde hair getting dirtied earlier.

“We shift we lose the element of surprise. Stronger scent and making yourself three times bigger isn’t what we need right now,” I reply. Then raising an eyebrow, “Unless you want to rake about the castle naked?”

“Might do when we’ve won,” Easton chipped in. “Might run from end to end of each of those five wings with my dick out for the hell of it.”

“Hell yeah, “ Finn laughed quietly, “They’ll soon forget the Hybrids when they see your monster flopping about,” and all of us chuckled. “Better not get mine out or the locals will fetch pitchforks,” Tucker boasted, unable to help himself as his huge black plaits swished.
