When a horn honked outside, Levi interrupted the kiss, but I could sense his hesitation. I looked up at him and grinned as a frown appeared on his face. The phrase "I'll see you tonight"

He mumbled, "Hmm, yes, tonight," while off-guard. Before gathering my stuff and sprinting outside, I grinned up at him. Dean was driving while tapping his watch like an irate senior citizen.

Dean said as I hopped into the car, "Look, if I have to be a soccer mom and do the school run, at least be ready at the right time."

You're a cranky bastard in the morning, I tell you.

He retorted, "And you're a raging bitch all day long."

I grinned, "Touché." We didn't talk much as we traveled to my new high school because Dean was in a nasty mood. As we got closer to the school, I was both anxious and excited at the same time.

Dean saw my excitement and said, "Don't worry, just stick with Shawna and Javier and you'll be OK. "They were wise choices on your part; both are strong and good Wolves."
