Shawna, Javier, and a few other Pack Wolves joined me for lunch. The topic of the day seemed to be Levi and I, as everyone was mentioning us. As we were eating, my phone rang with a text message. I received a message from Levi wondering how my day was going. I chose to ignore it, so a moment later I received a new text. When Dean and Josh sent a text, I sighed hard.

I gave a frustrated grunt and extended my hand to Javier. I swiftly put the phone to my ear as he hurriedly handed it to me. Surprisingly, I haven't passed away yet, I snarled at him.
