"May?" Rafa muttered in disbelief, his eyes widening in the darkness of the late night. You look.." he faltered.

I whispered, "Like someone who was left there to die, and was forced to Shift alone, in the middle of a forest." I was resentful, but I had very good cause to be.

He was bleeding profusely from the arrows when he begged, "May, listen to me."

Chris yelled fiercely, his voice as sharp as a tack, "You will address her as Luna." His pale complexion glistened with vigor in the moonlight, and his dark hair was pulled back. The woman made a small movement as he said. She froze as Chris raised his bow. "Stay still."

Rafa exhaled, groaning in agony, "Listen to them, Mia." If May had wanted to murder me, she would have done so by now because she is a phenomenal shot.

Chris shouted, "You will address her as Luna," and even I was startled by how loud and strong his voice sounded.

Out of the corner of my eye, I caught a glimpse of him and noticed that his eyes were flickering strangely.
