The door opens and Katherine peeped her head into the kitchen. “Aurora, there’s someone here that wants to see you. He says he’s a special visitor.” Katrine winked, making Aurora to gasp faintly.

They both shared a look and her heart dropped to the wooden floor. Auburn gave her an approval nod and she nodded back.

“I’ll be right there,” she responded, dusting her hands together. She releases a heavy sigh as she made her way out of the kitchen.

“Aurora.”

She halts and set her eyes on Auburn. “Yeah?”

“You’ve got flour all over your face and hair.” She gave her a teasing smile and take a bite of the cupcake she just frosted.

Aurora rushed to the changing room and looked at herself in the mirror. She heaved a sigh; thankful Auburn didn’t let her go out there looking like a buffoon. She washed off her face and fixed her hair before she briskly stepped out.
