She dusted out the excess flour off her apron and pushed the oven close for the next badge. She loved to bake, especially with her mother and not being with her right now reminds her of home.

She also takes it as a distraction—she needs a distraction; from Kendrix and Blake. She didn’t want to be thinking of the both of them because it makes her head hurts and she hates how she gets flashbacks of what she doesn’t want to remember.
