BlueJaxon continued checking over my hands when Quinn and Xander left. The half moons from my nails had already healed but he was still wiping away the remnants of blood, taking his time. Making the most of me letting him touch me.I hadn’t told him yet that I didn’t mind him touching me anymore. The little sparks on my skin brought me comfort, just as his scent did. But he was always respectful, asking my permission before doing anything. JaxonThe beat of Blue’s heart slows until it matches mine. A strong steady rhythm connecting the both of us. Her chest was pressed tightly against mine. Her fingers gripping my bare shoulders. Her face nestled in against my neck. She still hadn’t spoken, instead, choosing to remain quiet. I couldn’t find the words either. She had let me do something that no one else had. She could have pulled away, she could have said no, and yet she had allowed me to touch the very thing she hated.“I have to go to the toilet.” She whispers, making me laugh. It was the last thing I expected her to say.Letting go of her, she rushes across to the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind her. It was a good thirty minutes before she appeared. The water hadn't been running. The shower hadn't been on. She stands in the doorway, staring at me. She looks at me in the same way as when I ran my hands over some of her scars until she closed her eyes. “Why did you send him away?” She asks quietly“You were growing frustrated. Xander Her wolf seemed bigger as she stood between Quinn and myself. Her eyes were locked with my brother, almost as if she was communicating with him.
