ZIRA’s POV

"I am tired of falling about this Maria. I am not going to leave, and that's it!" I said.

I was upset listening to her talk, so I walked out of the room.

"Where do you think you're going, Zira? What did I tell you about staying away from Miles? Don't you listen to anything that I say at all?" She asked me.

I pretended not to hear anything that she said and walked out.

I know that I will have to see Miles and confront him myself at some point. I just can't keep running away from it. I have to face it.

I was standing facing the palace's garden when I felt someone walking up to me. My heart was beating fast against my chest. I already knew who it was without turning back.

It was as if I was waiting for this moment.

"Who are you?" He asked.

"Are you surprised to see me?" I asked him. If my mom or Maria could see me right now, they are going to say that I am looking for death, but I know that I just can't ignore
