Chapter Ten: Selecting A Queen For Ronan

Zira’s POV

I gasped in surprise as I watched myself

in the floor-to-ceiling mirror in front of me.

The Royal Palace stylist certainly had

magical hands,

as I felt like my whole person had undergone some surgeries that humans

loved to do so much.

My hair was rolled up into a

high bun with some curled tendrils framing my

face while my make-up

was delicately done to highlight all of my features.

The only thing wrong with all of

these, with the stunning blue dress and the teardrop pearl necklace seated on my

chest, and Ronan gifted, was that today, I was going to watch my mate get

betrothed to another woman.

“Your beauty certainly has no

rival even in the capital,” Ana, the head stylist, says with an adoring smile as she looks at me through the mirror.

“Thank you,” I mumble, not

wanting to seem impolite.

“If you are ready, I’ll lead you

to the hall. We

are already quite late.”

It

turns out Ana was correct; the entire building

was alive with

music and conversation as soon as we steppe
