135. Running

LIA'S POV.

I wake up to the sound of chaos. There are people running everywhere, shouting orders and commands. Confusion overwhelms me as I try to get my bearings, but it's hard to focus with so much commotion going on around me.

I'm lying on a table, surrounded by strange machines and equipment. And then, as my eyes finally adjust to the bright lights, I see Alpha Lance standing over me, a murderous look on his face.

Before I can even process what's happening, a guard runs in and delivers the news that the Pack is being approached by a hostile group, and they appear to be preparing for war.

My heart races as I realize that this could be my chance to escape. But before I can even move, Lance barks orders at the scientists to finish their experiment.

I hear the sound of wheels and machinery as they rush to get me out of the room. I know that I must fight, that I can't let them restrain me again.

I try to struggle, but the restraints are too strong. Panic sets in as I realize that time
