60. The battle

LIA'S POV

The bed and the sheets dipped the kkemnt he stood up to leave. Also, the feeling of warmth that had surrounded me suddenly seemed to disappear even though the room had grown quite hot at the moment. I turned immediately towards him and asked.

"Where are you going?" I pouted as he was smiling.

"Got some things to take care of about the war." His raspy voice said before he looked back at the door.

"But you said that things were already OK Because I had rejected his Pack. Isn't that what you said to me?" I asked him while introspection if that's what he had actually said. And it was. There was nothing else he had said to me back then. He soon began to explain himself, which made me breathe out a frustrated sigh.

"Yes you have rejected him Pack but we still have to make sure that the Pack is protected. We won't be as strict as before, so there won't be much work. Just a few things that would lure them and that's all." He said, slowly walking back to the bed. He sat gently beside
