Chapter 30

While Jaxson was putting the plan together to take over the Lycan kingdom, Symphony slowly started to stir. She felt like she had been hit by a semi-truck. She opened her eyes and took in her surroundings. She wasn’t sure where she was but when her eyes landed on Jaxson, she knew she shouldn’t let him know that she was awake.

She remembered the attack after Alexander left, she remembered Gavin telling her to run, and she remembered her home going up into flames. She knew Gavin had made it out, only because Jaxson needed him to deliver a message to Alexander.

She tried to reach Starlett, but she was still exhausted from the fight to be much help.

“Some special wolf.” Symphony thought to herself. “Guess I am on my own, trying to get out of here.”

As she continued to look around for an escape route, she heard Jaxon muttering to himself about something, she couldn’t make it out because he was talking to low even for her wolf hearing to catch. She ignored him as she felt the rope around h
