Chapter 31 - The Roadblock

The mini bus didn’t get pulled over or we haven’t seen them get on the road leading to the high way. I know there are back roads to get to our pack, but the high way takes less time. The officer came back with the paper and Vutha’s license. He handed it back to us and gave us a nod before wishing us a good night. We pulled away slowly.

“Where do you think the rogues went?” Lee asked as she looked behind us. I too were hoping that we would see them being pulled over too. Maybe than we could have gotten away from them. Not that we are scared of them, if we can avoid a fight, we would rather do that. Spilling innessecory blood is not our go to method of dealing with rogues. That and the fact that we still have one with us.
