Eva's POV

" A-Alpha..?!"

A scared stuttering voice of Michael reached my ears. Grabbing the rare opportunity, I smacked my hands free from Michael's grasp and immediately swept out of his bedroom. On my way out , I stumbled and fell countless times due to my knee injury. I still managed to get myself out of that Delta's room.

From the third floor I could see the dark shadow outline of man . I couldn't see his face still. I'm sure he's no other than Brendon himself. It was already evening but the interior 's additional lights were not turned on. Probably because all the maids left the mansion to go on shopping with Bella this afternoon.

' I can't believe that guy wasted my time.' I looked back and saw him standing at a distance, panting furiously and giving me hungry beast's glares.

' God, why do men from NOVERA have such a raging and beastly attitude ? If I get caught now, he will reduce me to a pulp!'

I gulped nervously, glancing down at Brendon's silhouette. Call me crazy but
