Book 2: Chapter 30

Willow POV

I open my eyes and look around at my new surroundings. I know this office. It belongs to the Lycan King.

Faris is sitting behind his desk, and Osiris is standing near the doorway. I was here that day. I turn my attention to the door of Faris's office and see myself struggling with the doorknob. This was the day that I met Osiris for the first time.

I shake my head at how embarrassing I was that day. It is no wonder that Faris was in such a hurry to get rid of me. Both Faris and Osiris watch me in silence as I struggle with the door. Faris has an annoyed look on his face, but Osiris is staring at me with amusement.

Finally, the other me opens the door, and I watch as I escape from the office. Turning my attention back to the two men left in the room, I watch as they look at one another in uncomfortable silence.

"I thought we agreed not to meddle in one another's business," Osiris finally breaks the silence between them.
