“Hurry”. Alex said as he beckoned on his soldier. “You’ll never be a leader with those legs. Do better”.

The guard ran up to him, trying his best to balance his feet on the shaky and rickety bridge they were walking across.

It looked to be about ten thousand feet above ground and he could not estimate how far they were from the end of the bridge.

“Sir, is this necessary?” the guard cried out. He looked at the alpha who looked so excited to get to the other end. He could assume the Alpha would not have heard him over his blinding excitement.

“Alpha”, the alpha turned to his guard. He seemed stuck, “I’m scared of heights”.

“My mate passed through here to get to the human world but you, a solider, you're scared of a common bridge?”.
