Amelia hid herself behind a door. She had been running for minutes now. The rogue was still hot on her trail.

“We’ll be fine, baby”, she whispered, pressing the young child to her chest, cradling him as closely as she could.

“Nothing is going to happen”. She exhaled as quietly as she could.
