Chapter 77

The creature grinned at Amelia. It had jumped down from its high fence and was now slowly making its way to her.

Amelia’s heart began to beat twice as hard. She could see red in his eyes. A sign that he was not pure.

“I’ve been looking for you”. He said with a hoarse voice. He cleared his throat and rephrased himself, “Scratch that, the whole pack has been looking for you”.

“Why?” her curiosity overshadowed her fear. Amelia wondered, “Who has been searching for me?”

“You ran away and the boss is mad at you”. He stopped. Where he stood, the moonlight sparkled. Amelia could see his face. His fangs, are were sharp and defined. Half of his face was covered in blood. She knew why.

“The boss has been looking for you in every corner of the pack, night and day, just because we’re hungry. I don’t think that’s fair now, is it?”

From his body language and what he was doing, Amelia could tell that the boss he meant was not Alpha Alex. Surely, it must have been Maxwell or…Sandra.

“Who do you call
