When Brayden got the message, the only reaction he did was a smirk. He didn’t think it was on his end to deal with that matter. Just because Shahila’s negligent with her task, it doesn’t mean that he has to jump and rise to the occasion to save her. It wasn’t something that’s part of their agreement.

With one press, he deleted the message. He has a different issue to deal on his own. Harper was missing…again. Alora said she saw her escape with a man but she couldn’t tell which one. Brayden had no idea of who it was so he didn’t focus on that part.

What he wanted to focus now is how to get her back.. again.

“Aren’t you tires of what you’re doing, dear alpha? Each time she disappears, you’re on your tails to find her. Hasn’t it occurred to you that maybe she doesn’t want to be found?”

Brayden looked at her sharply.

“You seem to forget your place, Alora. I don’t take advices from anyone. I also didn’t ask for it.”
