As the ship pulled into the harbour near our home, I couldn’t help but gape at the sight in front of us. I looked at my parents who were looking proud as my brother and his mate came into view. The entire pack had come to welcome Andre and his pack to their new home! They had balloons and streamers and a banner, and it all looked so damn festive!
It was incredible. My family had gone all out to make Andre and his people feel at home. It was the complete opposite to what I expected. I could see from the looks of astonishment around me that his pack was simply blown away by the welcome. None of them had expected this. It was as if the Lycans were celebrating the return of the werewolves. It was the end of a horrific chapter in our histories and the beginning of a brand new one for all of us.
