“My Prince!”

Ardin cried out but he has been left out. There was no way he could escape.

Byron turned to Ardin slowly and said, “You have sinned, Ardin. You killed the mother of our King and as a member of his House and family, I can promise you that you will be punished.”

“But I didn't Kill her. I didn't kill anyone!”

Ardin barked, hissing at Byron.

Jay chimed, “She is here.” before I could ask who he was talking about, Jay added, “Amanisa is here. She is awake and she is close.”

What?

I inhaled deeply and focused on the uncompleted bond between Amanisa and me to confirm Jay’s claims and to my surprise, she was truly awake… and she was close to the throne room but not within the throne room.

“I believe we should execute this traitor immediately, Alpha King Archie. Avenge Aunt Sophie without delay.”

Byron began to sob. He was such a snake. I was becoming uncomfortable in the throne room because Amanisa was outside doing goddess knows what.
