AMANISA’S POV

“Watch out, Ama!”

Even Arla exclaimed but it was too late to move out of the way of the witch's attack. I turned back as fast as I could but before I could understand what was going on, I felt a wave of irritating energy approaching me.

Second later, I felt that same energy engulfing me like a wormhole. I was surrounded by it and I couldn't move out of it.

I was trapped.

“What’s this, Arla? Do you have an idea?”

I believed Arla would know about what was going on. She has weird knowledge about weird things and always helped me out. I looked around as I awaited Arla’s response but it was as if I had been teleported to another world.

I couldn't see anything beyond the ting space. I couldn't see or hear Kovan and the rest of my team. Neither could I hear Byron and Violet or the grunts of the fighting men. I believed I was alone again until the dark sorceress’s voice resonated around me.

“Let’s see what your Lywolf healer can do without access to your spiritual ability.
