131. Lost A Sibling Too

AMANISA’S POV

“I think you should sit, Amanisa.”

Sophie’s voice found me.

She walked up to me and stood beside me. I have been standing by the entrance of the house of purity for the past three hours yet Kovan was yet to return and I hated the eerie feeling that settled within me.

I was scared.

My parents told me twelve years ago that they would come for me but they didn't. They were unable to and now I feared that Kovan was also stuck. I feared that he wouldn't be able to make it back to his daughter and me.

Which was why I stood hopelessly at the entrance, blaming myself for not going with him when he left.

“It’s been five hours since they left and none has heard anything from them. I can’t help but worry, Sophie. This brings back dark memories.”

I informed the older Lycan behind me. Many times in the past five hours, I had thought of going after Kovan but I had to think over and over because of the soul that was growing within me.

I couldn't risk my daughter’s life.
