Chapter Sixty-Two (Isla)

After looking out the window and making sure her henchmen were not guarding the door, I left the cabin, closing the door silently behind me. I headed back up the path, careful not to make too much noise; I searched for the door into the castle and could not find it. Maybe it was a portal. I thought.

“Okay, so no door now what?” I spoke to myself.

“Guess we get back the old way. We can’t be too far from the castle; I can sense it.” Daciana shared.

“It still could be far away.” I noted.

“We will run all night if we have to. The fact that Ashina took us now means the Shadow Moon Pack is planning their next move.”
