“Of course I know he’s mortal. He’s no god. But his powers are godlike. They can make my own powers look like child’s play and that’s what I fear about him,” he said with a mutter. “Maybe if I had half his strength and I had loads of wolfsbane, I could attack him and kill him.”

“I’ve heard stories,” I smiled. “Stories of how magic can be used to enhance a werewolf to attack and even kill an alpha. You just have to be strong enough and you’ll have that.”

This had the man intrigued. He sat behind his desk with folded arms and crossed legs.

“I’m listening.”

I told him all I had learned from Jane. Of how she had been amped by a weak witch to match the alpha and stop him from killing the coven.

She had matched him for a few minutes before being taken down but that was because she wanted to get his attention and not kill him.

This rogue however, if he was going after the alpha, could kill him.

He chuckled. “So this witch that amped Jane, is she around?”
