“Sure,” the woman said to me as I walked into the palace to drop the drink in my fridge.

I walked up the stairs to see Gail standing at the top of the stairs with a smile on her face.

“It’s nice to see the both of you getting along, Miss Victoria,” she smiled but there was nothing funny. I didn’t even care about her or her goodwill. If I did not have a plan at hand I would have destroyed her where she stood.
