Two hours later, the phone in my office rang. I was so busy with the document at the time and laughing at the ridiculousness of it all. It was actually a good way to get over the boredom that was not catching up to me at my new job. I wanted something to do already.

“Hello.” I spoke tentatively into the phone. I was excited already. What if it is one of our customers. I cleared my throat. I need to make a food first impression, our customers liking me will lead to grumpy face liking me too.

“This is Mr. Pérez, come get your Id and the painting files. Need to see you within five minutes or you are done with this job. That will make me glad.” He hung up. He is really telling me that he wants me gone? That is just plain shitty.

I stood up immediately and made a beeline straight to his office. I will not be giving this horrid man a chance and am excuse to fire me. No, I am way smarter than that. I will overcome any sort of shut that this man might want to put in my way
