While I, of course, had work, I didn’t spend much time apart from my mate. Some days she did go exploring the area and we wouldn’t see each other much until we went to bed together and had our nightly ritual before sleeping. But many of the days leading to the party, she joined me in the office and we went over what she would now help to take care of.
