Chapter 63: Introduced

I loved this. I loved standing here with my mate, laughing with her family, and getting to know her a little better. I was thrilled too she had agreed to a ceremony. It was not that I wanted something big and glorious either, where we invited everyone. I liked the intimate idea, and I liked just declaring my love for her in front of people who mattered. Her aunt wasn’t wrong, though. We would probably have two ceremonies once Jackson had gotten Daphne to accept what she had learned about them. I didn’t blame her for running. She had been through a lot already, and I could understand it made her nervous about finding her mate. But this was also her chance and she shouldn’t miss out on it.

“Maybe we could make one big together!” my aunt said.

“I am not having my ceremony day with Jackson,” Ana said.

“Why not? You’re like siblings.”

“It’s my day,” she said before turning to me. “Or ours.”

I smiled at her and kissed her on top of the head, feeling the bond between us glowing
