Chapter 54

Liam's POV

I dragged my drunk mate across the hall, heading straight to my chambers. Andre was tasked with putting the guards and maids away.

The warriors were sent for immediately and they assumed the guards positions at every entrance of the castle.

They didn't pass up the opportunity to steal one or two glances at me and I allowed it. After all, I wouldn't be attending the Annual Hunt.

"S-Slow down. You're making me dizzy," Aurelia said behind me with a smile in her tone. A smile was plastered on her face and every minute, she would laugh at probably something she cooked up in her head.

It was fascinating and beautiful to see but I would never tell her that to encourage her to try this another time.

I slowed down in my steps, feeling a little guilty for being lost in thoughts and putting her through so much.
