Aurelia's POV

She led me back to the market and I could already feel the thick air and the silence. I noticed everyone's gaze on me the minute we walked into view. The relief was impossible to miss and I wondered just how much trouble they were in.

I felt guilty for my actions and was determined to help them out of the situation. Only one thing though, how strict was their Alpha?

I had faced a vile Alpha Prince, then a sweet and charming Lycan King who shook me from the beginning. I guess at this point, I was tired of meeting Alphas. I was scared as each of them had scarred me in more ways than one.

"Look, Alpha Adrian, she's here. She's alive!" The woman who had pushed me to the ground yelled with urgency and relief. She was on her knees with two guards beside her. One was in wolf form and he growled at her. She swallowed her words and lowered her eyes to the floor.

All this for an apple? I felt ashamed. It was my fault she was in that position anyways.

"Where is the Alpha?" I mutter
