Nikolai "So what have you decided?" Max asked me the second he entered my office. Yesterday night when I was formulating the war strategy, Max came into my office and told me a plan that he had come up with. Avalyn Nik and I had breakfast together before he left to go work in his office. I hadn't seen Dimitri, Mikhail, or Andrei all morning but I knew they were all busy too. They were all preparing for the war. Having nothing to do, I decided to go out for a run. It had been a while since I had let my wolf out anyways. I walked to the backyard and shifted into my wolf. My eyesight got sharper. My hearing got stronger. I could smell better. I felt a lot stronger. But my wolf felt a little weaker than before. Avalyn "Ava, Love? I'm back." Nik slipped into the bedroom. I almost thought he wouldn't come back tonight. He had a lot of work to do.
